Sweeping Pakistani raids on ISIS as Isalmist bombing death toll rose to 88

Pakistani forces killed and arrested dozens of suspects in sweeping raids overnight and into Friday as the death toll rose to 88 from a massive ISIS suicide bombing at a famed Sufi shrine in Sehwan in the southern Sindh province. This was the deadliest terror attack in Pakistan in years. Islamabad lashed out at Kabul. Charging that the Islamic State attack was masterminded from sanctuaries in Afghanistan, Pakistan opened cross-border artillery fire into its neighbor and closed the important Torkham border crossing. The raids by paramilitary Rangers across Pakistan left at least 38 terrorists dead.
