Opposition sources: Six non-Syrians killed in alleged Israeli strike
A Syrian security source said a “barrage of missiles,” fired from a point north of the Lebanese city of Tripoli, were mostly intercepted by Syria defense systems early Friday. There was no confirmation of opposition sources’ claim that six non-Syrian personnel were killed in the attack. SANA said only that “Israeli aggression” had targeted the Scientific Studies and Research Center in the Masyaf area outside Hama in the northwest. This site, which holds the Assad regime’s missile development and weapons industries, has been repeatedly targeted in the past.
