Syrian army cuts off last ISIS supply route leading to Aleppo
Forces from the Syrian army on Wednesday completed their takeover of the roads leading to the northwestern city of Aleppo, thus severing the supply routes used by the rebels that control large parts of the city. The roads connect Aleppo's eastern neighborhoods to the city of Manbij via highway M4. Various aid organizations are now warning of a humanitarian disaster as the city's 280,000 residents have been cut off from supplies of food, medicine and other basic needs.
