Syrian blows himself up, injures 12 near German music festival

In the fourth violent attack in Germany in less than a week, a 27-year-old Syrian man denied asylum in Germany injured 12 people Sunday night when he detonated a bomb in a wine bar in the southern city of Ansbach. A nearby music festival was evacuated. Initially the police attributed the explosion to a gas leak.The small town is located southwest of Nuremberg that is also home to a U.S. Army base.
