Syrian fighters bomb an Idlib city lost to Nusra Front rebels

Syrian jets Sunday bombed Jisr al-Shughour, the day after the al-Qaida affiliated Nusra Front and its allies seized the Idlib provincial city, one of the few that were left to the Assad regime in the northwestern province. At least 34 people were reported killed. This was one of a series of losses for Damascus in the northern and southern regions of Syria.
