Syrian-Kurdish accord for Syrian army to defend Kurds in Afrin

The Syrian army and the Kurdish PYD political party reached agreement Sunday for Kurdish militiamen to evacuate the town of Afrin in northern Syria. Syrian regime forces will then take over and defend the Kurdish population against the ongoing Turkish military offensive to drive the Kurds out. This is reported by Syrian government and Kurdish sources. DEBKAfile’s military sources:  If this deal holds up, the Turkish fighters in Afrin will be up against the Syrian army instead of the Kurdish militia and face a demand from Damascus to remove themselves from Syrian soil.

It seems ErDOGan achieved his goal: remove the YPG from the border with Turkey. America betrayed the Kurds one more time. Fuck America!

The Kurd’s have the oilfields only because of the Americans, in the current state of affairs in Syria the Syrian Democratic Forces are a economic power, and military force. Trump not Obama.
