Syrian rebels say truce has failed, no hope of aid delivery
Syrian rebel leaders in the Aleppo region said Monday that the truce brokered by the US and Russia has practically failed and there is no hope of aid being delivered to the distressed population of the embattled city. Rebel forces are preparing to go back into battle. The US and Russia accuse each other of violations of the week-long ceasefire that never got off the ground. Syria refused to halt its air strikes to allow humanitarian aid to pass through the Castello road to Aleppo.
