Syrian sources: Ex-Israeli Druzes laid explosive on Golan
According to Syrian sources, the four-man team which laid an explosive device near an IDF border post in northern Golan Sunday night were Druzes – two of them former members of the Israeli Druze community from the Golan village of Majd el-Shams. Hizballah sources described the four terrorists as belonging to a Druze group calling itself the “Martyrs of Quneitra.” An Israeli air strike killed all four. The device did not explode.
