Teen with machete attacks Jewish man outside Marseille synagogue

A machete-wielding teenager attacked a Jewish man outside a synagogue in the French city of Marseille on Monday. The victim, who was on his way to the synagogue, suffered minor injuries in the attack. The 15-year-old assailant dropped the knife and fled the scene but was captured shortly afterwards by French security forces. According to witnesses, the assailant shouted "allahu akbar" before stabbing the victim.
