Tehran surly on Obama’s reelection: Don’t expect talks overnight

The head of the Iranian judiciary Sadeq Larijani condemned the “crimes” of US sanctions, said relations with American “cannot be possible overnight” and the US president should not expect rapid new negotiations with Tehran. “Americans should not think they can hold our nation to ransom by coming to the negotiating table,” said Larijani to the IRNA news agency Wednesday shortly after Obama's victory speech.  Before the election, the US media predicted early one-on-one US-Iranian talks to curb Iran’s nuclear program.
