Tehran vows payback to Israel for two Rev Guards deaths in Syria
Israel’s northern front is on alert after Iran’s Revolutionary Guards vowed to avenge the deaths of two of its officers in a purported Israeli air raid on Tuesday of a weapons and ammunition depot they operated near Damascus international airport. Unusually, Tehran admitted to an Israeli attack and named the victims as “Guard colonels Ehsan Karbalaipour and Morteza Saidnejad,” promising “the Zionist regime will pay for this crime.”
