Tehran: We have a new facility for producing ballistic missiles
A general from Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) was quoted as saying Thursday that his country now has a third underground ballistic missile factory that Iran will use to continue to develop its missile capabilities "forcefully". According to the Fars news agency, the head of the IRGC's airspace division, Brig. Gen. Amirali Hajizadeh, said the facility was built "in recent years". He vowed "we will continue our missile tests and missile production. The next missile to be produced is a surface-to-surface missile". Hajizadeh did not provide any further details about the weapon. The senior officer also alleged that the US and Israel "are angry with our missile program because they want Iran to be in a weak position", the report said.
