Tehran: We have warned Israel through US of “consequences”

Two high Iranian officials Tuesday warned Israel to await retaliation, in reference to the air strike on the Syrian Golan on Jan. 18, which killed an Iranian general and six Hizballah fighters. Dep. Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said: "We told the Americans that the leaders of the Zionist regime should await the consequences of their act," adding, "Israel crossed our red lines."
