Ten bodies counted as Ukraine truce shattered with new violence
The foreign ministers of France, Germany and Poland escaped Kiev Thursday without meeting Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych, as new violence erupted hours after he announced a truce and start of talks with the opposition. Correspondents report police firing live rounds and counted ten bodies on the ground in Kiev’s Independence Square.The foreign ministers went to Kiev for talks with the president and opposition leaders before reporting back to a special EU meeting called to consider sanctions against Ukraine.
