Ten Russian military helicopters fly into Crimea

The Ukrainian border guard said 30 Russian marines were surrounding the coast guard base at Simferopol as some 10 Russian helicopters flew into Crimea Friday  Earlier Russian marines and paratroops seized Crimea’s main airports. Ousted President Viktor Yanukovych will speak to reporters shortly from the Russian town of Rostov on-Don, which is only 502 kilometers from the Crimean capital of Simferopol. The Kiev government is demanding his extradition to Ukraine.
