Terror attack cut short in Paris

French police have identified as a terrorist attack a car that crashed into a police van near the Champs Elysees Monday before bursting into flames. The drive was killed in the attack. There were no other casualties. Gas canisters, a Kalashnikov gun and hand guns were found in the terrorist’s Renault Megane car. The Champs-Elysees was closed to traffic.
