Terror attack in US: Jordanian student pilot intentionally crashes small plane
A Jordanian citizen who entered the US in 2012 to go to flight school intentionally crashed a small plane into a residential area of Connecticut on Tuesday, killing him and seriously injuring his instructor. Feras Freitekh, 28, crashed the twin-engine plane into an area next to the airport where he was supposed to land. The plane hit a power line, starting a large fire. The instructor said afterwards that the crash was not an accident. The FBI is investigating the incident as a terrorist attack and checking the people whom the Jordanian man had been in contact with.
