Terrorist attacks on Tuesday were linked to Biden’s visit, police say
The Israel Police announced on Tuesday night that the terrorist attacks earlier in the day in Jerusalem, Petach Tikva and Jaffa were each connected to US Vice President Joe Biden's visit to the country, although there was no sign that they were linked to each other. The announcement was made after a meeting of the police's senior command with Internal Security Minister Gilad Erdan to discuss the situation.
DEBKAfile: The police's position was counter to its previous position as well as that of much of the Israeli media that made great efforts to describe the attacks as unconnected to Biden's visit.
