Terrorist explosions hit two Egyptian Coptic churches. At least 31 dead
At least 25 Christians were killed and more than 50 injured in an explosion at the Coptic St. George’s Church in the town of Tanta 50km north of Cairo. The church was packed with worshippers for the Palm Sunday celebration of the Easter festival. Two hours later, another bomb exploded at the back door of the Coptic cathedral of Alexandria killing at least 6 people and injuring 30. A few minutes before the blast, the Coptic Patriarch Theodorus II left the church.
