Terrorist shoots one Israeli dead, wounds a second near Dolev
Two 25-year old Israeli hikers were shot at close range near Dolev on the West Bank north of Ramallah. One sustained critical injuries from which he later died. The other man was moderately injured and taken to hospital. The gunman approached their car. As he chatted with the the two men, he pulled out a gun and shot them. Military forces are hunting for the terrorist. Restrictions on Palestinian movements on the West Bank, eased Thursday for the month-long Ramadan festival, were tightened up again in the area of the attack. Earlier, three Palestinians, one from East Jerusalem, were detained at the Oranit checkpoint after a Karl Gustav submachine gun was found in their possession hidden in an amplifier.
