Terrorist stabbing critically injures Israeli police officer

An Israeli Border Police officer was stabbed and critically injured near Damascus Gate in Jerusalem Sunday. Before he collapsed, he and fellow officers shot the terrorist. Contrary to earlier reports, the Palestinian  is being treated for his wounds in hospital.  Friday, near Dolev north of Ramallah, an unarmed Israeli hiker, Danny Ganon, 25, was shot dead at close range by a Palestinian  terrorist, later identified as acting for the Hamas group called Marwan Qawasmeh and Oamar Abu Eisha. This group kidnapped and murdered three Israel teen boys exactly a year ago. An intensive search continues for the gunman.
