Thai police arrest suspected Bangkok bomber

Thai police Saturday arrested a suspect they said fit the description of a man filmed on security cameras as leaving the site of the Aug. 17 blast in Bangkok, that killed 20 people most of them tourists. In a raid of the apartment he used, they found possible bomb-making materials and dozens of passports. But deputy national police chief Gen.  Chaktip Chaijinda said it was “not yet clear” whether he was the man on the CCTV images.
