The UAE introduces compulsory military service for men

All men aged between 18 to 30 will serve a minimum of nine months military service, under a new bill ordered Monday by UAE President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan for the establishment of a new national defense and reserve force.
