The US to pull out of cold war nuclear arms treaty with Russia

The US will leave the 1987 Intermediate-range Nuclear Forces treaty with Russia that banned ground-launched nuclear missions with ranges from 500km to 5,000km, President Donald Trump has announced. “Russia has violated the agreement. They’ve been violating it for many years,” he said, referring to the development of a new Russian cruise missile, and stressed: “We’ll have to develop those weapons.” US hawks, including national security adviser John Bolton, argue that the INF ties the country’s hands in response to Chinese medium-range missiles in the Pacific.

Trump is getting rid of bad deals and agreements which sap US money and weaken the country. Climate deal, fir instance, was a thinly disguised attemt to transfer wealth on a global scale.

This move eould untie America’s hands militarily and remind a Russia and China and Islamic world leaders who are on the move towards conquest that there are real lines which must never be crossed.
