The Visegrad summit is off. Poland and the Czech Republic cancel

The Visegrad conference due to take place in Israel on Monday and Tuesday was cancelled at the last minute after Poland and the Czech Republic announced separately that they would not attend. Polish prime minister Mateusz Morawiecki furiously protested  by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s comments on the Polish role in the Nazi Holocaust in Warsaw last week, followed by Acting Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz’s more explicit accusations, which the Polish leader condemned as” shameful and racist.” Although the summit was cancelled, the prime ministers of the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia will visit Israel for talks with Netanyahu.

‘Polish PM considering cutting off relations with Israel’

‘Polish officials slam “anti-Polish racism’ – the backlash against years of tolerated fascistic Kahanism has begun. Next comes the outing of the Holmodor from the Ukranians and the Israeli Lobbying of the Americans

There should be ZERO TOLERANCE for Kahanism

Why is Netanyahu pushing to embrace Kahane’s successors?
Opinion: Racist, extremist Kahanism did not die with the racist, extremist rabbi who gave this ideology its name. His disciples and admirers walk among us and for some reason, Netanyahu has been lobbying to include them in a merger of small right-wing parties.

We didn’t forget, and didn’t forgive what you collectively did in Holocaust, and then blamed everything on Germans only

Kahana was way less racist then the present racist Arabs sitting in the Knesset representing reprehensible cold blooded murderous HAmas and PA butchers

Let’s ignore the name calling and ethnic jokes for a minute, some are funny. Let’s concentrate on “antisemitism” and how to end it, and where it came from. Sorry, it began in eden upon eating from the wrong tree. It intensified and concentrated as the promised curses of Lev 26 and Deut 28 kicked in. Crying “antisemitism” will only intensify the pain. There is only one solution, as even this goy learned long ago; repentance and return to Yah and his covenant..

“Polish” jokes are not appropriate, indeed tasteless in this very sensitive, pregnant with dire consequences situation for all parties involved.

Some Poles were obviously anti-Jewish. Anti-Jewish (not antisemitic, as this implies all middle eastern nations) sentiment was spreading widely across Europe at the time. Some Poles were forced to give information at gunpoint to save their own lives and lives of their families. Add to the fact that Poland had only been independent for around 20 years after 123 years of occupation and the nation was weakened and desperate and threatened. The Polish government never collaborated in anything the Nazis did. It opposed the invasion since the very first day of September 1st 1939. In fact the Polish government on the exile was first to openly inform the world about Nazi genocides taking place on the Polish soil (June 9th 1942 Wladyslaw Sikorski’s speech at BBC) because the world (Europe and other nations) simply refused to believe that camps such as Auschwitz and Treblinka existed until they saw it with their own eyes. We can even argue that Europe is guilty of the holocaust simply by ignorance but do we want to raise this topic? Some Poles helped and saved hundreds of Jews. For instance Irena Sendlerowa saved 2500 Jewish children from shoah. I heard from my grandpa who survived the WWII that Poles did break windows by throwing rocks into Jewish houses. Yes, Poles are guilty of many pogroms which are documented and are widely commented as shameful acts. But getting back in history long before the holocaust; why was Poland the home of so many Jews, up to 10% of Polish population? Rabbi Moses Isserles praised Poland as “heaven for the Jews” because it was nearly the only country in Europe where Jews could settle after persistent persecution and exile from surrounding countries. Poland had been the longest standing safe haven for Jews which is the reason why none other country had a larger population of Jews than Poland.
The history shifted many times over the course of centuries. There is a chance that many of current Israelis who were fortunate to survive the holocaust and were exiled from Poland because of aggression of some Poles, not to mention the most obvious threat from the Nazis, were fortunate enough because their ancestors had lived on the Polish soil for many generations, instead of being exterminated in Ukraine, Hungary, Austria etc.

Can we just stop trying to paint history either black or only white?
