Theaters and cinemas may reopen with small audiences

The Ministerial Coronavirus Committee Wednesday night approved the immediate reopening of cultural institutions including theaters under strict restrictions. Audiences must be held down to 250 or up to 500 against a special permit. The Habima National Theater announced that for audiences less than 500, it would not open its doors. Hili Tropper, Minister of Culture, said that the entire industry was going bust.
