A third Golani soldier dies of injuries from last week’s road crash

Two soldiers were killed and 10 injured when a week ago a truck driven by a Palestinian from East Jerusalem crashed into a Golani convoy parked at the side of Highway 6. The crash claimed a third victim on Monday when Sgt. Shilo Siman-Tov, 23, of Golani died of his injuries in hospital. The police released the truck driver after determining that the crash was accidental, not a terrorist attack. Since then, families of the victims have posted on social media video clips showing the driver against the background of Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem calling for the mosque to be “liberated with blood and fire.”
