Thousands protest in Paris over anti-Semitic murder of Sarah Halimi

Thousands of French Jews rallied in Paris Sunday in angry protest over the murder of a Jewish woman who was thrown out of a third-floor last week by her Muslim neighbor. They inveighed against the French authorities’ inaction against anti-Semitic violence. Refuting a prosecutor’s claim that it was "too early to confirm that her murder was an anti-Semitic or a terrorist attack," French MP Meyer Habib revealed that the suspect “was accustomed to calling Sarah Halimi and her daughter Elisheva ‘dirty Jews’ and they were afraid of him”

The lawmaker declared: “This was undoubtedly an anti-Semitic attack. I doubt that the attacker would have thrown his neighbor from the apartment if she had been Algerian.” Habib also refuted the prosecution’s claim that the murderer was crazed by drugs. He confirmed that the Jewish woman was not stabbed by her murderer. He woke her up, beat her mercilessly and then threw her alive out of the third-floor window.” He stressed that if Jews won't be able to live in France, neither will Frenchmen.
