Three would-be jihadis from Brooklyn were arrested Wednesday for plotting to join ISIS and carry out terrorist attacks in America, including assassinating the president. They intended to fly to Turkey and join ISIS. If this failed, they planned to launch a terror attack on the United States, said FBI Assistance Director in Charge Diego Rodriguez. Two were arraigned in Brooklyn Federal Court and the third captured in Florida and is expected to be arraigned in Jacksonville. One suspect, 19-year old Akhror Saidakhmetov, said he would shoot police officers; a second, 24-year old Abdurasul Juraboev, said he” would shoot Obama because he launched bombing attacks on ISIS and because of his support for Israel.” The third suspect, 30-year-old Abror Habibov, was supposed to pay for the tickets to Turkey. All three hail from Uzbekistan.
