Three Egyptian officers, one a colonel, killed in two ISIS attacks in Sinai
A colonel in the Egyptian military was killed and three recruits injured on Sunday when their armored vehicle struck a landmine in central Sinai. Two officers were killed and five soldiers injured in a second ISIS attack, this one in the North Sinai town of Shekh Zuweid. Last week, ISIS opened fire on members of the Sinai Tarabin tribe, killing 12, according to security and tribal sources.
