Three Iranian police officers killed in clashes with Sufi protesters

Video footage posted on social media on Monday evening showed clashes in northern Tehran between Iranian security forces and members of a Sufi order in Iran known as the Gonabadi Dervishes. They had gathered in front of a police station, demanding the release of some members of their sect. “Some disrupters of security and order used a bus today and killed three police officers… The murderers were arrested seconds after their crime,” police spokesman Saeed Montazer al-Mahdi said on state television.

I’m from Gonabad the origin of this faith of Dervishes, though not a Dervish myself but we have friends and neighbors of this faith and they’re good people unfortunately they have been under severe oppression from the government for decades and they just want to defend their rights.

the main problem with them in the eyes of the government is that they have their own religious leader who is not Khamenei.

Mr Khamenei himself I bet is not even aware of the oppressions this group has been receiving from his government because there is no real conflict between their views and Iran’s shiite beliefs and the oppressors are just ignorants and extremists who should be reproached.

so since there’s no real conflict but some misunderstandings which is going to be solved soon I recommend Israelis not to get too excited about this.

Thanks for the info Amin. Israelis just want the people of Iran to live freely like we do. G-d willing your leadership will be forced out someday by your people and we will be able to embrace one another like we have in the past.

      Peace, love, and light!

I wouldn’t say that the Sufis go around murdering their own people or any person at all. As far as I know the core of the Sufi belief is much more akin to “love thy neighbor” – so I’d say that the so called government of Iran has taken the religion’s heart out of it and weaponized the parts it wants to use for selfish gain by using (abusing) literal meanings of their holy book against all and sundry inside and outside of its borders. The Iranian people will eventually shake these off and kick the mullahs out. I’m not saying all mullahs are of the same murdering fiend type, however, the ones in charge have proven to be devils.

This demonstrates that the khomenist ayatoolahs will soon fall due to external and INTERNAL opposition.

The only way the ayatoolahs can maintain control is by slaughtering the people.

    Marg Bar Iran!
    Marg Bar all ayatoolahs!

    LONG LIVE PERSIA!
