Three Israeli Jewish minors arrested on suspicion of nationalistic crime
Detectives from the Israel Police have arrested three Jewish minors, aged 15 and 16, on suspicion of vandalizing property, including the spray painting and arson of cars belonging to Arabs in the town of Yafia near Nazareth in June. The suspects are said to have admitted under questioning that they carried out the vandalism in response to the June 8 terrorist attack at Tel Aviv's Sarona Market complex. The arrests of the three teens, residents of Karmiel, Alon Moreh and Balfouria, were extended on Wednesday for several more days by a judge at a court in Nazareth. The arrests came after a joint investigation by the Shin Bet domestic security service and the nationalistic crime unit of the police's Judea and Samaria district.
