Three Israeli drivers were wounded early Tuesday morning when Palestinian terrorists carried out the biggest ambush on Route 443 since the start of the current wave of terror. At least 13 vehicles were hit, the most Israeli cars to be damaged in a single terrorist attack, when the terrorists started throwing rocks and molotov cocktails at passing vehicles at 1:30 a.m. The terrorists prepared their ambush by pouring oil on the road. A force of policemen that was in the area saw the terrorists and opened fire on them. One was killed, two others were seriously wounded and a fourth arrested.
