Three killed and shooter dead at US naval base in Florida

An unidentified shooter killed two people at the US Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida on Friday before he was shot dead himself. The base was placed on lockdown. Two more people suffered critical injuries. The Pensacola base hosts 16,000 military personnel and more than 7,000 civilians. It is home to a flight demonstration squadron and an early training center for naval pilots.

On Wednesday, a sailor killed two civilians and wounded a third at the historic Pearl Harbor military base in Hawaii before taking his own life.
