Three Palestinian terrorist attacks thwarted
A Palestinian tried to stab a Border Guardsman Sunday at a checkpoint between Har Homa, Jerusalem and Bethlehem. The policeman shot the assailant. Two 15-year old Palestinian boys from Araqa threw stones at Israeli reservist troops near Jenin. When the soldiers chased them, one of the boys opened fire. Both were shot dead. Found on their bodies were a gun and a knife. Israel handed their bodies over to their families.
In Nablus, Israel police scouts defused an explosive device hidden near the slopes of Mt. Eival.
