Transport Minister Yisrael Katz tapped as acting foreign minister

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said he would hand the foreign affairs portfolio to Minister of Transport and Intelligence Yisrael Katz as acting FM. The High Court has criticized Netanyahu for holding too many portfolios – defense and health as well as foreign affairs. Katz came second in the Likud party primary earlier this month and announced he would bid for the leadership when Netanyahu retires.
