Trump and Putin expect to meet in Paris on Nov. 11, Bolton reports
US National Security Adviser John Bolton said Tuesday that President Trump wishes to meet Vladimir Putin when they visit Paris on Nov. 11 for the World War I commemorations. He told Putin: “I think President Trump will look forward to seeing you in Paris…” . Bolton met with several senior Russian officials on Monday before his 90-minute conversation with the Russian president. Putin told Bolton he would like to discuss various arms control issues with Trump and said Russia was baffled by America’s “unprovoked moves that are hard to call friendly.” He was referring to Trump’s to pull out of the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty.
