Trump announces US withdrawal from Paris climate accord
US President Donald Trump said Thursday that the US was leaving the Paris Climate Accord and willing to negotiate a fair new deal, if possible whereby the burden is equally shared among the nations. He said the US is ending implementation of its contribution of a “vast fortune" to the green climate fund. The accord is bad for America, its businesses and its workers. It would cost America 2.7 million lost jobs by 2025 and $2 trillion in lost GOP. The deal discriminates against the United States compared with China and effects the redistribution of US wealth to other countries. Nearly 200 nations signed the Paris climate accord, under which the US under Barack Obama was supposed to reduce its carbon emissions by 26-28 percent.
