Trump bans Chinese Tik Tok in US

 President Donald Trump announced Saturday that he would sign an executive order banning the Chinese-owned video-sharing app Tik Tok in the US. Security officials have been concerned that the app would be used to collect personal data from American citizens. Tik Tok denies it is controlled by or shares data with the Beijing government. The fast-growing app has up to 80 million active monthly users in America- most under 20 – and the ban would be a major blow for its owners ByteDanace.
