Trump calls on all nations to isolate Iran’s regime
In his address to the UN General Assembly Tuesday, US President Donald Trump accused Iran’s leaders of “embezzling billions from its treasury to line their pockets and finance aggression and expansion,” and “sowing chaos and mayhem across the Middle East and beyond. “We cannot let the foremost world sponsor of terrorism which “threatens Israel with destruction to possess the world’s most dangerous weapons,” The US will deny Tehran funds to pursue its agenda. Trump said and called on all nations to isolate Iran’s regime. He went on to say that the US is committed to peace and stability in the Middle East, including peace between Israel and the Palestinians. He accused OPEC of ripping off the whole world and rejected globalism and other threats to national sovereignty. The US president announced sanctions against the Venezuelan socialist regime. “Socialism and communism have produced corruption and decay everywhere. “ he asserted. He emphasized that each country must foster sovereignty, independence and patriotism as the keys to freedom, strength and prosperity.
