Trump cuts aid to E. Jerusalem hospitals

The US State Department reports that President Donald Trump has ordered the cutoff of the $25m earmarked for six Palestinian hospitals in E. Jerusalem and redirected the funds to “high priority projects elsewhere.” This is part of Trump’s review of US assistance to the Palestinians to ensure they are spent in accordance with US national interests. The Palestinian Authority accused the US of another attempt to “liquidate the Palestinian cause.”
