Trump expected to delay relocating US Embassy to Jerusalem

With a deadline for a decision looming on June 1, President Donald Trump is likely to continue his predecessors’ policy of signing a six-month waiver overriding a 1995 law requiring that the embassy be transferred to Jerusalem. This is reported by US diplomatic sources. He is expected to reiterate that he stands by his pre-election pledge for the transfer, but note that its execution at this time would impede his administration’s peace efforts.
