Trump hosts his first Hanukkah party at the White House

President Donald Trump, hosting his first Hanukkah party at the White House with the first lady Thursday, said this was an “especially special” Hanukkah as he thought about his declaration recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital the day before. “Hanukkah is a time for Jewish families around the world to celebrate the miracles of the past and the promises of the future. We are proud to stand with the people of Israel and renew our enduring bond,” said Trump.
