Trump: I’ll cancel nuclear deal, prevent UN imposition of accord
US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, speaking at the annual AIPAC conference in Washington on Monday, promised to cancel the nuclear agreement between the US and Iran if he is elected, as well as cancel the Obama administration's policy of treating Israel like a second-class citizen. Like fellow candidates Ted Cruz and John Kasich, who also spoke at the conference, he vowed to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and not to allow the UN to impose conditions regarding the Palestinians on Israel. The conflict can only through direct negotiations. However, at a press conference shortly afterwards, he said that in his view, Israel should be required to pay for its military assistance from the US, along with Japan and South Korea.
