Trump, in Oval Office interview, vows to start building wall within months
In his first TV interview since entering the Oval Office, US President Donald Trump said Wednesday that his administration will start building a wall on the Mexican border in the coming months, with the planning for the project starting "immediately". He added during the interview with ABC that the Mexican government will ultimately pay for the border wall even if his administration finances the construction. Earlier, Trump said he would reduce the annual aid to Mexico to help pay for the project and that he had ordered the recruitment of thousands of policemen to prevent Mexicans from entering the country illegally via the border.
