Trump names Attorney General and UN ambassador nominees

US President names William Barr as attorney general, a post he held in the 1990s, and State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert to succeed Nikii Haley as UN ambassador.  A conservative lawyer, Barr, 68,  is to Jeff Sessions whom Trump fired last month. He held the role under President George H W Bush. Nauert is said to have gained the trust of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. Before joining the administration, she spent several years as an anchor and correspondent for Fox News
