Trump: On my trip, I will ask partners to help pay for what we are doing
In a commencement speech Wednesday at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, President Donald Trump said that in his first foreign trip next week, he will strengthen friendships and seek new partners, “who will help pay for whatever we are doing.” First in Saudi Arabia, he said, “I will challenge people to unite against hate and extremism” and "give their faith a peaceful future. We have to stop radical Islamic terrorism.” Then in Israel, he said, “I will affirm our unbreakable bond with the Jewish State.” Without mentioning the latest New York Times report accusing him of asking the former FBI chief James Comey to shut down the investigation into Michael Flynn, Trump urged his audience to always do what they think is right, despite the opposition.
