Trump postpones G-7 summit from June

US President Donald Trump has announced that he would postpone the Group of Seven summit planned for late June and expand the “very outdated group of countries” invited to include Australia, Russia, South Korea and India.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel declined attendance. “As of today, considering the overall pandemic situation, she cannot agree to her personal participation, to a journey to Washington,” her spokesman said.
