Trump says he will deport 2-3 million undocumented immigrants
President elect Donald Trump said in his first TV interview he was elected: “What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably two million – it could be even three million – we are getting them out of the country or we are going to incarcerate,” Speaking to CBS 60 Minutes, he said: “We are getting them out of the country, they’re here illegally.”
He explained that once the border is "secure", then the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement will assess the status of the remaining undocumented immigrants in the country. When asked if he actually intends to build the wall along the southern border, Trump simply replied, "Yes,” adding “There could be some fencing.”
