Trump stands by decision to pull US troops out of Syria soon

“The US mission has not changed — the president has been clear that he wants US forces to come home as quickly as possible,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Sunday. She made this point in response to French President Emmanuel Macron’s statement that he had convinced Trump to keep US forces there. Macron also said he told Trump that it was necessary to limit the airstrikes in Syria, suggesting Trump wanted to go further. “We also persuaded him that we needed to limit the strikes to chemical weapons sites after things got a little carried away over tweets,” Macron told reporters.  He also said Syrian ally Russia is complicit.

Of course US has to pull out troops!
This region has already the evil renown needed to attract like a magnet all aggressive Islamic parties. In order to be happy and rejoice they have to tarnish with strong killing rage all the fibers of their souls, and so to reveal the essence of Islam. Pull out the troops to allow Islam to consume itself to oblivion.

It seems that the ghost of Obama has inserted itself unto President Trump. He repeats Obama’s mistaken declaration about leaving Iraq ahead of time (in Trump’s case it’s Syria). And after Trump’s blustering declaration of punishing Syria, his actions are less than hand slapping, given that Assad, Russia and Iran achieved their goals (and even providing plenty of time for Assad to hide whatever he chooses in new locations). In fact, for the first time since he became President, I find his actions to be an Obama-like, showing weakness of resolve, strength and will as well as ineffective strategy.
    Pathetic!

If Trump pulls troops out of Syria he fulfills his campaign promise. US invaded and toppled the governments of Iraq and Afghanistan setting up new friendly governments that “invited” US troops to stay. No such deal in Syria short of a war to overthrow Assad. Presently US troops inside of Syria are breaking international law. The US trained, funded and armed ISIS as a means to topple Assad, they lost control but still continued to arm them so long as they threatened Assad. Other rebel groups are fronts for AQ. Obama withdrew US troops from Iraq in order to create ISIS. It’s dirty business and a business that the US needs to get out of, their is no strategic reason for the US presence. Assad wanted no part of Obama’s Arab Spring he and fellow Gaddafi had to go. The US people want to stop wasting blood and treasure in the ME. Russia is there to make sure Europe stays reliant upon their gas, Iran will be their enforcers. That posses a big problem for Israel. Should Israel be attacked they would need to hold their own until the US could provide aid. Rough neighborhood.
